We began in 1968 from one physical store located at 62/1C, Diamond Harbour Road. This was before the Birla Group set up the renowned set of hospitals in the locality.
Over time, we realized that a lot of customers were flowing in from the Behala area, and we were unable to service them properly due to the customer rush. So in the year 2011, the board decided to set up a retail unit in Behala to cater to the growing needs of the people residing in that belt.
In the year 2012, Hajra Medical Stores Pvt Ltd., also set up a store near S.S.K.M hospital in Bhawanipore area to cater to a newer set of customers.
Since we are operating out of such varied areas in the city, we are always loaded with diverse range of products including oncology (anti-cancer), surgical, orthopedic, diabetic and all kinds of life saving drugs.
For a customer, one can be rest assured that he/she will find the medicine that they seek at our store (unless it is unavailable in the market).
